Salumaq Environmental Contracting Ltd. led a challenging and strategic project to construct a Soil Treatment Facility (STF) and remediate soils at a High Arctic Weather Station in Eureka, Nunavut. Located on Ellesmere Island, approximately 1,100 kilometers from the geographic North Pole, the site’s remote location and extreme conditions posed significant logistical challenges.
