Description
Milestone Environmental Contracting Inc. provided remediation services for the Lunenberg Fisherman’s Wharf remediation project. This project was for remediation services for management and disposal of contaminated groundwater and free product from within excavation for a site located at the Lunenburg Fisherman’s Wharf to remediate approximately 265 m3 of contaminated soil. Contaminants of concern at this site included petroleum hydrocarbons, metals, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.

- Working along a shoreline and coordinating work around high and low tide periods
- Limited space on site that required significant planning and coordination of trucks to ensure access was maintained to the nearby Fisherman’s Wharf and boat slipway.
