We are proud to announce Kendrew Jacobs as the inaugural recipient of the Indigenous Student Bursary! 

Kendrew is pursuing a Master of Environment and Business (MEB) at the University of Waterloo, a program they describe as the ideal platform to explore sustainable business practices and strategies that can create long-term environmental and economic impact. 

In our first year of running the Indigenous Student Bursary, we received applications from across the country—each one filled with passion, purpose, and potential. We’re proud to support a student so committed to advancing sustainability, community well-being, and Indigenous representation in business and environmental leadership. 

We’re looking forward to opening applications in Spring 2026!
